Are you passionate about social justice? Come give voice to your passion! All spoken word pieces about social justice are allowed, but those concerning hunger and homelessness will be eligible to win a first or second place prize! We ask that all potential performers be aware that this event is intended to be open to guests of all ages. So all performances should do their best to be suitable for families and carefully manage or minimize any material that may be considered offensive. If interested in participating, please fill out the Hungry for Change: A Spoken Word Competition form, located in the Form section of our Orgsync page: https://orgsync.com/88542/forms/267514 There will be a 10-15 minute period allotted for open mic performances after scheduled performances. Performances can be between 5 and 6 minutes long, those that run over will not be eligible to win. The Campus Pantry will be open for use and donations for one hour following the Competition.
