The University of Baltimore Law Forum presents a symposium, "Memory and Proof: Victims of Child Sex Abuse and the Maryland Courts."

The first panel will discuss the effectiveness of recently passed House Bill 642, which extends the time frame in which people victimized as children have to file a lawsuit. Panelists will discuss the implications of this legislation for victims, against not only their attackers but also any third-party organizations or governmental entities that may be liable.
