In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. The theme of our inaugural TEDx event is Momentum. Confirmed speakers include: Baltimore Poet, Derick Ebert; Former Baltimore City Mayor, Sheila Dixon; Founder & CEO of The Shade Room, Angelica Nwandu; VP of the United States Humane Society, Paul Shapiro; Hypnosis Scott Schmaren; Programmer, Jae Deal; and Muslim Civil Rights Activist, Zainab Chaudry.
