The Calm Before the Storm: A Look at Pending Covid-Related Litigation

The global pandemic has upended businesses, economies and families. It has also brought about a variety of legal actions, including failure-to-warn claims, injunctions, class action lawsuits, and employer liability. What can attorneys, consumers and business owners do to protect themselves from liability, or assert their rights, before the onslaught of litigation?

Discussing these issues are Don Kinsley, J.D. '91, a director in the Wilmington, DE firm of Maron Marvel Bradley Anderson & Tardy; Imoh Akpan, J.D. ’06, a partner in the Baltimore firm of Franklin and Prokopik; and Jonathan Novak, J.D. '07, an attorney with Fears Nachawati in Dallas. UB Law Dean Ronald Weich will moderate the discussion.
