TurnAround's Take Back the Web

Take Back the Night is an international event and non-profit organization with the mission of ending sexual, relationship, and intimate partner violence in all forms. Hundreds of these events are held in over 30 countries annually in the month of April.

These events often include marches, rallies and vigils intended as a protest and direct action against rape and other forms of sexual, relationship and domestic violence. Due to COVID-19’s initial shutdown restrictions in April 2020 TurnAround completed their first onlineTake Back the Web event, where they placed a virtual spin on the traditional events of Take Back the Night.

TurnAround’s Take Back the Web serves as a virtual space where survivors and allies can gather safely in the encouragement, support, and awareness of survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence.
