Alumnus Bob Parsons Reads from His New Memoir

Bob Parsons, B.S. '75, D.H.L. '08, a Baltimore native, founder of a string of globally successful companies and now a billionaire philanthropist, will return to his alma mater on Monday, May 6 for his literary debut, a memoir called Fire in the Hole!

Parsons will read from the book, engage in a conversation about its many insights (including his experience as a U.S. Marine fighting in Vietnam), and, afterwards, sign copies of the book and meet with attendees at a special reception. The reading and book talk will begin at 4 p.m. in the Wright Theater in the UBalt Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave. The book signing and reception will take place beginning at 5 p.m. in the Bogomolny Room adjacent to the theater.
