UB welcomes guest speaker, Greg Heller, to present on the new Baltimore Food Hub and what it takes to provide an urban populace with a stable, continuous, nutritious and ecology-minded food supply. Greg Heller is a Senior Advisor at Econsult Solutions, Inc., where he consults on economic development and urban reinvestment projects. Heller is currently consulting on the Baltimore Food Hub—the revitalization of 120,000 square feet of historic buildings in East Baltimore to create a synergistic group of businesses, services, and programs focused on rebuilding Baltimore’s local food economy.
Refreshments will be provided. This event is part of the honors learning community, Crab Cakes and Pit Beef.
