  • Business Etiquette 101: The Ultimate Guide to Professional Networking
    Tuesday, March 28, 3:45 - 5:45 pm (Student Center 301)
    Register: No r.s.v.p. required
    Did you know that more job seekers obtain a job through networking than applying to online job boards?  Do you feel confident about your networking skills?  If not, Business Etiquette 101 is an event tailored just for you.  Participants will not only receive best practices and career strategies for networking, but will also have the opportunity to practice a firm handshake, their professional pitch, proper introductions, and learn how to work a room while enjoying light refreshments
     
  • Netiquette: Professionalism through the Internet
    Tuesday, March 23, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
    Stop by our Resource Table in the Student Center lobby and learn important etiquette rules for digital technology.  Enter to win the "Netiquette Challenge" by taking a quick quiz  - winners eligible for CPDC or UB SWAG! 
     
  • Dine for Success: Professional Etiquette Dinner (all majors welcome)
    Thursday, Mar. 30, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (John and Frances Angelos Law Center, 12th floor)
    Registration Fee: $10

    Learn how to improve and refine your professional networking and dining etiquette skills. Focus will be given on dining and etiquette protocols for lunch and dinner interviews.  A 3-course meal will be provided.  Business attire recommended, but not required. Register in UBworks (located under tools in MyUB).  Payment can be made at the Career and Professional Development Center in SC 306 via cash (exact) or check.  

    This event is co-sponsored by the Career and Professional Development Center, Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
