Explanation of Fees
Technology Fee
Technology Fee supports instructional and informational entrepreneurial efforts and technology projects related to the academic activities of our students and faculty. Part-time rate is $6.00 per credit hour and the full-time flat rate is $72.00.
Student Center Fee
Student Center Fee supports the construction and operation of the student center. Part-time rate is $34.00 per credit hour and the full-time flat rate is $407.00.
Student Services Fee
Student Services Fee support of student affairs operations, and programs to include, the student health center, the recreation and leisure program. Part-time rate is $9.00 per credit hour and the full-time flat rate is $110.00.
Auxiliary Construction Fee
Auxiliary Construction Fee supports the expansion and construction of the dining and parking facilities. Part-time rate is $8.00 per credit hour and the full-time flat rate is $98.00.
Auxiliary Operating Fee
Auxiliary Operating Fee supports the shuttle and food services operations and a USM mandated fund balance contribution. Part-time rate is $18.00 per credit hour and the full-time flat rate is $211.00.
Student Government Association Fee
Student Government Association Fee supports the student governments and the part-time and full-time rate is $25.00. This is for Undergrad and Graduate students.
Student Bar Association Fee
Student Bar Association Fee supports the student bar association and the part-time and full-time rate is $30.00. This is for Law and LLM students.
Laboratory Fees
Laboratory fees apply to certain courses. These are used to maintain and upgrade equipment and licenses and to provide consumable materials necessary for the course. The laboratory fee varies, depending on the course.
Late Payment Fee
A $75.00 fee is added to student accounts that are not paid in full by the scheduled due date for the term.
