University of Baltimore School of Law Professor Michael Higginbotham was a guest on CNN's Piers Morgan program on June 25 to add insights into the Supreme Court's decision to strike down part of the Voting Rights Act. "I think it's really sad," Higginbotham said.
Reflecting on the court's 5-4 ruling to strike down Section 4 of the law, Higginbotham said, "For the majority to basically say that while racism continues, and they recognize that, that it's up to Congress to prove it ... I think it's really sad."
