A special Constitution Day forum on the topic of judicial independence will be presented at the University of Baltimore on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. in Room 003 of the William H. Thumel Sr. Business Center, 11 W. Mount Royal Ave.
This special event will feature a presentation of a half-hour film, in which United States Supreme Court Justices Sandra Day O’Connor, Stephen G. Breyer and Anthony Kennedy appear. The film will be followed by a discussion of issues regarding the role of judges and judicial independence, led by Keith Blair, UB School of Law professor, and Jeffrey Sawyer, director of the graduate program in jurisprudence in the Yale Gordon College of Liberal Arts program in Legal, Ethical, & Historical Studies.
