Architecture Review: New Law Center 'Enhances Communication'

An article in the April 16 edition of Architectural Record focuses on the University of Baltimore's new John and Frances Angelos Law Center, home to the UB School of Law and a bold, light-filled and environmentally sustainable structure located at the corner of Mt. Royal Avenue and Charles Street.
The building "aims to enhance communication between different occupants," the article says.
"Crisscrossing stairways resolve staggered floor heights between offices and classrooms, and breakout zones—identified by seating, ceiling-mounted acoustical dampeners, and maple countertops—encourage socializing and learning."
