The University of Baltimore's AstroBees—a team of students who are creating an augmented reality (AR) project to assist astronauts as part of the 2021 #NASASUITS design challenge—will be the focus of a video presentation from the Baltimore Museum of Industry on Saturday, April 24 beginning at 2 p.m. "Industry in Outer Space: AR + Astronauts" will demonstrate how one of Baltimore's farthest-reaching industries (literally: the exploration of space, the moon, and beyond) is receiving national attention, as the potential of AR-assisted tools and instructions is examined by these UBalt students working with NASA.
STEM students and space enthusiasts of all ages are invited to attend this free and open virtual event. No registration is required. Details are available here.
