Joan Biskupic, legal analyst for CNN, will join The University of Baltimore for its annual Constitution Day observation on Monday, Sept. 20, at 5 p.m., in a virtual conversation on "The Changing Supreme Court," hosted by the School of Law. The event, free and open to the public, will take place via Zoom. Registration details are listed below.
Biskupic has covered the Supreme Court for 25 years, for The Washington Post, USA Today and Reuters news service. She has written books about four Supreme Court justices: Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Antonin Scalia, Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, and Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
Law Dean Ron Weich will interview Biskupic about the changing High Court and its upcoming term.
Constitution Day is an annual national celebration designed to renew the nation's familiarity with the tenets of its founding document. On Sept. 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed by the delegates to the Constitutional Convention and prepared for ratification by the states.
