Jaye Crooks joined  the Klein Family School of Communications Design in 1992. Her current duties include assisting the directors of the M.F.A. in Integrated Design and M.F.A. in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts programs; and managing the business affairs of Welter and Skelter, UB’s two student-run literary journals, and Passager Books, the independent publishing venture dedicated to older writers.

Crooks has a B.S. from Towson University in General Studies/Religious Studies core.  Before coming to UB she was employed by Maryland Special Olympics and Goucher College.

A Baltimore native, Crooks lives in Towson.
