PROGRAM
- In fall 2023, IOP graduate students are working on preparing infographics for the SIOP UN committee addressing an organizational topic from a cross-cultural lens and connecting it to a UN Sustainable Development Goal so as to provide evidence based guidance that might affect policy decisions.

Chelsea Bean presented research on validating the Glazer Meaningfulness in Life measure at the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP) conference in Limerick, Ireland, in August 2023 and at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) in April 2023, in Boston. She also attended the IACCP sponsored and subsidized Cultural & Psychology graduate summer school program in Limerick.

Andressa Viscone presented her research on leaving a noxious work environment at the Israel Organizational Behavioral Conference, January 2023, in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Victoria Dimoff presented her research on the redundancy of transformational leadership and supervisor social support at the Israel Organizational Behavioral Conference, January 2023, in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
- In January 2023, 14 graduate students from the M.S. in IOP program and the Global IOP (GIOP) certificate program attended the Israel Organizational Behavioral Conference, in Tel-Aviv, Israel, met with C-suite and high level management of Moovit, Grove Investments, Wix, Monday.com, and toured Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, and norther Israel (e.g., Akko, Tsipori, and Kinneret).
- In May 2022, 17 graduate students in the Global IOP certificate program participated in a faculty-led study abroad experience to Barcelona and Girona, Spain. The program completed the full experience the students had when they studied virtually with peers from University of Barcelona. Travel to Barcelona in January 2021 and 2022 were hampered by COVID travel restrictions, but when the doors opened, we fulfilled the experience with a wonderful week together.

Lauren Burk, M.S. '17, started new job with Employee Benefits Services (EBS) of Maryland as client management coordinator. Lauren is looking to align organizational psychological principles with HR employee benefits practices by developing programs around occupational health and stress, performance managements, and OD.

Judah Frank, M.S. '17, who interned at the Office of Personnel Management, as part of the government's Pathways Program, was converted into a full-time employee.

Alyssa Gradus, M.S. '17, spearheaded an IO Psychology consortium—Industrial Organizational Innovative Solutions Committee—in conjunction with fellow students Tyler Reck, Michael Micklos and Sondisa Obie, at the Maryland Department of Transportation.

Fresia Jackson, M.S. '15, was hired by CultureAmp in San Francisco, CA.

Ivica Pavisic, M.S. '16, completed his thesis, "Supervisors’ leadership style influence on subordinate stress: A cross-cultural study of the benefits of transformational supervision," and is in the midst of completing his Ph.D. at Bowling Green State University.
- Yari Randall, M.S. '17, will begin a new job at IPMA-HR as a research and development associate conducting job analyses, selection assessments and criterion-related validation studies for many of the security positions in Arlington County such as police officers, firefighters, etc.
