Prerequisites: You are expected to have a minimum level of familiarity with HTML before taking many of the courses in the program. Upon admission, you are expected to submit proof of completion of the Code Academy classes listed below, or take PBDS 501 Introduction to Web Development (pass/fail). These requirements do not count toward the completion of the degree program.

You can complete this program through one of two plans:
- 30 credits of coursework and completion of a 6-credit thesis
- 30 credits of coursework and completion of a 6-credit project.
