Learn more. Outside the classroom.
Honor societies and other academic interest organizations are a great way to immerse yourself further in your area of study and gain additional experience in the field. Plus, they look great on your resume.
Learn about additional honor societies and academic organizations through the Rosenberg Center for Student Involvement.
These organizations:
- allow you to meet and network with students and faculty who have similar interests
- provide opportunities for academic and cultural enrichment (field trips, speakers, events, etc.)
- offer leadership experiences
- can give you a leg up in the classroom and on the job.
(Just keep in mind that some honor societies require certain academic qualifications.)
