You can earn the University of Baltimore’s M.S. in Forensic Science—High Technology Crime degree at the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Maryland.

USG is a partnership of nine University System of Maryland universities, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs from across the state at its campus in Montgomery County.

As a UB student attending USG, you will pay the same tuition and have the same financial aid opportunities as does any other UB student (you may pay differing fees based on your home campus). Your classes at USG will be taught by UB faculty, and you’ll graduate with a UB degree.

Upcoming Events at USG

Your UB at USG education is now even more affordable.

UB is now offering in-state tuition to graduate students in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia (Arlington, Loudon, Fairfax and Prince William counties and Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park).

This tuition discount applies to programs at USG, where you pay the same tuition and have the same financial aid opportunities as does any other UB student.

Why choose the Universities at Shady Grove?

The USG campus is located along the I-270 "high-tech" corridor—Montgomery County's primary economic engine—concentrated in the biotech industry but highly diversified with advanced professional, research and tech services at its core. And it's only expected to expand. It’s also close to the Maryland State Police headquarters and numerous federal, state and local criminal justice agencies.

You’ll graduate prepared to meet the increasing demand for cyberintelligence professionals in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

How does the program work?

  • The 10-course curriculum can be completed in 12 months.
  • Classes are offered in the evenings.
  • You’ll gain practical, hands-on experience in brand-new digital computer labs.
