Here’s how you can help.
Since its opening in Spring 2018, the Career Closet has been helping students in the UBalt Community find free professional attire for their career endeavors. The closet is entirely stocked by donations from the UBalt community and our neighbors. In its opening year, 2018, the closet received 915 clothing donations and served over 150 students. In order to continue to offer this resource, we need your help to give students the professional clothing they need for transitioning from coursework to the work force.
Monetary Donations
Whenever the Career Closet gets low on a staple product, it uses financial donations to replenish its stocks. By giving a monetary donation, you are enabling the Career Closet to buy what is needed, when it is needed.
Supply Donations
Throughout the year, the Career Closet holds Clothing Drives, but is always accepting donations. Please use the guide below when determining what to give to the Career Closet.
Priority Items: Blouses, shirts, and pantsuits or skirt-suits in sizes XL and above.
Donation Boxes
Donations can be dropped off at the Career Closet during normal hours. Donation drop-offs can also be scheduled by emailing careercenter@ubalt.edu.
