Welcome to the University of Baltimore's new website. Created by UBalt's Office of University Relations in collaboration with the Office of Technology Services and the Web design and communications firm idfive, the site has two principal goals: to enhance the University's Web presence for both internal and external audiences and to strengthen UBalt's ability to tell its story to potential students, alumni and external constituents.
The site is much more powerful and intuitive than its predecessors. Each of UBalt's four schools—the College of Public Affairs, the Merrick School of Business, the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Law, as well as Langsdale Library and the central University Web pages—has its own distinct presence in the new environment. The site offers captivating features like a virtual tour, various image display tools and a stronger way to navigate from page to page, section to section. It's friendly, colorful, bold and, most of all, easy to use.
No matter who you are—whether a potential freshman or a veteran professor—we want you to be completely comfortable with the new site. Take a few minutes to become familiar with the way it works. You might start with the dropdown menus on the home page. From there, visit the various schools, the pages about academic programs, informational sites for alumni and other groups, news and events, and so on.
If you have questions about the new site, send them to websupport@ubalt.edu. We want to hear your comments and suggestions, so let us know what you think.
Oh—and learn more about the little guy at the top of this page: our official mascot, Eubie the UBalt Bee.
