  • Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited, part time faculty. These contracts vary by term based upon department need. If qualified candidates are interest in adjunct appointments, we encourage them to contact the department and/or school for more information and availability of appointments.

  • Student positions are part –time and are not benefits eligible. There are three student employment categories a current enrolled student at UB can be hired based on guidelines. 

                • Federal College Work Study
                • Student Assistants: UB student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, working no more than a total of 20 hours per week. (Multiple assignments also cannot exceed 20 hours per week)
                • Graduate Assistantships: UB student currently enrolled in a graduate program. Graduate Assistants work up to 20 hours per week providing research, and administrative support to academic departments or administrative unit.

  • Contractual positions can be partially benefited or non-benefited, part-time, or full-time employees.
