You can configure certain mobile devices to access UBalt e-mail remotely. The settings below have been provided for your convenience. Please ensure that your contacts are backed up prior to configuring your device.
Note: The settings below apply to faculty and staff accounts only. Outlook Web Access (OWA) through the MyUB Portal is the only recommended method of accessing email from off-campus and is the only remote method supported by OTS.
Note: You may need to enter the domain and username together as cis\netID

Note: Corporate Sync is for Microsoft® Exchange server work email accounts.
Open up My Accounts application from application tray or through Menu > Settings
Tap Add account
Tap Corporate Sync
Your Corporate exchange account settings will be displayed
To access the manual set-up options for Exchange account, use your UBalt email account on the first screen for the corporate sync account setup.
On the second screen that appears, additional fields will be displayed. Change the username and password to your netID and password for the Exchange email account. Also enter the domain name (CIS) and server name (outlook.office365.com).
After the account has been validated, go to the Main Home screen and click on Menu > Settings > Accounts. Look for the new account that was just created; it will have the same name of the account that was used to start the setup process.
Select the correct account name, then tap on General Settings and change the account name to the correct name for your Exchange account. Tap OK to complete.
