For Baltimore, the indicators identified by the University of Baltimore to date for this goal are as follows:
Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Gases include carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons, sulfur hexafluoride, and nitrogen trifluoride. The lower the greenhouse gas emissions, the less the human contributions to climate change.
Number of Excessive Heat Code Red Days
A measurement of the number of days with extremely high temperatures within one year. The fewer the Code Red days, the lower the risks to human health.

Goal 13 Global Targets
