Sheik Md Akij, a current MBA student has been awarded a 2025 Mu Kappa Tau scholarship. The organizatonal and logistics giant UPS recognized Akij's academic performance, leadership potential and dedication to marketing with $750 scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year to assist him with educational expenses.
"This recognition strengthens my passion for marketing and fuels my journey toward global entrepreneurship," said Akij.
Akij was recently inducted as a lifetime member of Mu Kappa Tau. He also serves as a graduate assistant at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) and holds lifetime memberships in Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Nu Tau.
Kelsey Schneiss, a Mu Kappa Tau representative, offered congratulations, adding, "Your hard work and determination will take you to great levels of personal and professional success."
Mu Kappa Tau, founded in 1966 to promote scholastic excellence in marketing. Its mission is to recognize and encourage high-achieving marketing students who show promise in advancing the discipline and profession of marketing.
