Major: Accounting and Business Advisory"My experience with the Career and Internship Center at UBalt was fabulous. Nowhere else provided me with such great help. I attended several workshops, which taught me proper interview/job fair etiquette and how to dress for interviews. My career coach has helped me polished my resume and assisted me with interview preparation. I was also able get a free suit from their Career Closet event and found a full-time job opportunity through the spring career fair. I have been to other career centers, and no other places match with UBalt's Career Center. No words can express my gratefulness toward such wonderful advisers, events and career center. I encourage everyone at UBalt to utilize this fantastic resource."

Major: Publications Design, M.A."When I started at UBalt my only expectation was to get an education, but it provided so much more. During my second year of grad school I worked at the University of Baltimore's Career and Internship Center as their Marketing and Graphic Design Graduate Assistant. Through this position I gained experience managing and designing for multiple projects at once, working with a team, developing professional materials, and making connections. My work here lead to my first full-time job as a graphic designer job at Holabird Sports in Middle River, MD, where I worked for a year."

Major: Entrepreneurship and Strategy"The Career and Internship Center is not solely a place to stuff your resume to prepare for an interview, or a place to simply learn about a possible career path. It will only be that if that’s all you choose to see it for. I worked in the Career Center for 3 and a half years, and I realized about a year in to my work that I was in a magical, unique environment. It’s not easy to find a place in a University where the staff will see you as more than a student. The wonderful staff at the CIC are trained in empowering you to develop your professional life. They understand that to do this, they must help to empower us as people...Ideally, by the time you graduate, you should check into the Career Center multiple times to ensure that you’re utilizing the university’s resources to maximize your potential."
