An informational reception for students to meet their mentors. Tamira N. Dunn, the founder and chief executive officer of Dream Girls Mentoring Program Incorporated, will deliver a keynote speech. Open to students and mentors who have been accepted into the program by invitation only.
Tamira N. Dunn is a UBalt graduate and the founder and chief executive office of Dream Girls Mentoring Program, which is dedicated to “uplifting, empowering, educating” teen mothers between the ages of 12-20 through one-on-one mentoring along with workshops and special events. Because of her efforts to better the lives of teen mothers, Dunn has received citations from Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Senator Barbara Mikulaski, and she was awarded a resolution from Baltimore City Council President Bernard C.
