Located on the fifth floor of the Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave., the Student Center Gallery is indicative of UBalt's transformation into a metropolitan institution noted for its varied and vital cultural offerings as well as its academic leadership and many career opportunities. This dedicated space, between the Performing Arts Theater and the Bogomolny Room, offers a large, specially designed exhibition wall. The gallery is complemented by a number of works of art throughout the building, giving much of the facility the feel of an exhibition hall.
The Student Center Gallery opened to the public in August 2006. All exhibitions are curated by Edwin Gold, professor and director of the M.F.A. in Integrated Design program, and director of the Ampersand Institute for Words & Images in the School of Communications Design in UBalt's Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences.
