The University of Baltimore Campus Pantry was founded on the idea that no member of the campus community should experience hunger. The pantry provides critical food assistance and resources, as well as outreach and volunteer opportunities. It is supported through the generosity of campus and community members and benefits from strong partnerships.

The Campus Pantry is open to any student, faculty or staff member. To receive services, participants must:
- provide a BeeCard to verify identity
- complete a short intake form (first visit only)
- sign a participation waiver.
There are no income or eligibility guidelines to receive services. Participants can take one bag of items on each day the campus pantry is open.
Our pantry features a “shopping” model: participants can choose the items they want. Some high demand items may only be picked up in limited quantities.
Hours of Operation:
During Fall and Spring semesters
Tuesday and Wednesday - 4-9 p.m.
Thursday - 2-6 p.m.
Other hours by appointment.

Our Campus Pantry relies on the work of volunteers. Students, faculty and staff may volunteer.
Volunteers assist with pantry upkeep, stocking and inventory, as well as customer service, marketing and outreach. All volunteers receive a #ubaltserves t-shirt.
Volunteers must do the following:
- Complete a volunteer application
- Attend group or one-on-one training
- Sign a volunteer liability waiver
- Sign up for 1 hour shifts
- Agree to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours/semester or 25 hours/academic year

We rely on generous donations of food items, as well as financial contributions, to ensure the Campus Pantry meets the needs of the UB community.
Donation items may be taken to the Campus Pantry, SC Room 202A from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon-Thurs. and 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday. Please call ahead to confirm your drop-off time at 410.837.4076.
Please consider the following guidelines when donating food:
- Packaged, unexpired, non-perishable goods are preferred
- No Ramen noodles, please
- High-demand items:
- Pasta Sauce
- Canned fruit
- Canned chicken
- Mashed potatoes
- Gluten Free foods
