Follow us on Twitter.

An integral part of the UB of the future, the College of Liberal Arts will be renamed the College of Arts and Sciences as the University works to strengthen and expand general-education and liberal arts courses to enhance student success. In our world, that of the applied liberal arts, theory and practice come together to provide the foundation for stimulating, successful careers. We'd love for you to join us here.

We're one of a kind. There is no other liberal arts school in the University System of Maryland like the Yale Gordon College of Liberal Arts. We cater to both nontraditional and traditional students, working hard to provide easy access to an education that you can apply to your career.

Diversity is what we're all about. Our programs are diverse (16 master's, doctoral and certificate programs; 14 undergraduate programs), as are our faculty and students.

Our six schools and divisions offer programs that apply the liberal arts to professional preparation. We support and encourage interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary studies, and our lower-level programs are linked to those at higher levels, so you can easily continue your education.

We are professionals. Our faculty members are committed to teaching, but they also produce significant research that enhances our academic programs and contributes to the community. The divisions' and schools' various centers and institutes enrich and serve the Baltimore metropolitan area and the University.

We are committed to lifelong learning.
