Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management at the Universities at Shady Grove
You don't have to come to Baltimore for a UB degree.
You can earn the University of Baltimore’s B.S. in Health Systems Management degree at the Universities at Shady Grove in Rockville, Maryland.
USG is a partnership of nine University System of Maryland universities, offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs from across the state at its campus in Montgomery County.
As a UB student attending USG, you will pay the same tuition and have the same financial aid opportunities as does any other UB student (you may pay differing fees based on your home campus). Your classes at USG will be taught by UB faculty, and you’ll graduate with a UB degree, certified by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration.

Why choose the Universities at Shady Grove?
Montgomery County and the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area are facing issues such as expanding access to affordable health care, reducing the cost of prescription drugs for seniors, providing coverage for low-income or uninsured children and eliminating health disparities among minority residents.
To deal with these issues, health-care institutions require a highly educated workforce that can manage change in a turbulent environment. When you graduate, you’ll have the knowledge and skills needed to meet this demand. Also, USG’s close proximity to Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and other medical facilities makes it an ideal location for both internship and job prospects.
How does the program work?
- You can complete the program in a combination of weekend courses and online courses.
- Classes are held Saturdays in 10-week sessions.
