Local PartnersLocal input will be sought in the refinement of our plan for new ways to deliver information intended for local decision-making use. Subsequently, there will be assessments of whether we are successful in meeting decision-maker needs for better local information.. The new workforce indicators will be selected and packaged for customized delivery to varied customers including potentially workforce boards, community colleges, economic development entities, and businesses themselves. In conjunction with DOL and participating states, two pilot sites have been selected within each state to provide feedback on LMI products developed through the project. Employment growth and the presence of strong workforce development system partners were important criteria in the screening process of these local sites. A single point-of-contact in each of the chosen local areas appears on this page. This person or organization’s overall responsibilities may vary among the participating local areas, but its primary role will be to facilitate and deliver feedback on MEETS products, on behalf of local workforce development decision-makers, to Jacob France Institute. |
