  • How is UB administration making decisions about operating schedules?

As of April 28, UB's full senior administrative and academic leadership team began holding daily 10 a.m. meetings to assess this fluid situation. These meetings will continue for the remainder of this week. The comprehensive campus perspective UB President Kurt Schmoke receives from this group, coupled with the latest communications the University of Baltimore Police Department receives from its city colleagues, informs his final decisions regarding all campus operations.

This message is from University of Baltimore President Kurt L. Schmoke:

To UB Students, Faculty and Staff:

With the lifting of the curfew in Baltimore city, UB will return to its normal hours of operation. Evening classes scheduled for today, Monday, May 4, and for the remainder of the semester will be held during their regularly scheduled times.

Thank you again for your understanding as we stand with Baltimore, and best wishes for a successful spring semester.

Kurt L. Schmoke
President
