The graduate-level User Experience Design program in the University of Baltimore's Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences has been ranked in the top 50 such programs in the nation by Value Colleges, a website with a focus on low-cost programs relative to high returns in employability, salaries and so on.
The UB program, which results in a Graduate Certificate in User Experience (known as UX in the profession), emphasizes interaction design, information architecture and usability analysis. It can be completed entirely online.
The program was rated #40 in Value Colleges' assessment of what it considers the top 50 UX design programs in the country. It came in just ahead of the UX program at the University of California-San Diego and the University of Kentucky, and just behind the UX program at Udemy and at Tufts University.
The University of Baltimore's UX graduate certificate is an independent program of study. It can facilitate the transition to further study through UB's M.S. in Interaction Design and Information Architecture program.
