According to the U.S. Department of Education's new College Scorecard, graduates of the University of Baltimore reported median annual earnings of $55,100 a decade after their admission to UB. Using this data, and searching for institutions enrolling at least 2,000 undergraduates, the Baltimore Business Journal ranked UB fourth in Maryland among all qualifying institutions, public or private. Only graduates from the University of Maryland, College Park, Loyola University Maryland and Johns Hopkins University reported earning more annually during the same 10-year period.
The Department of Education's survey offers a comprehensive performance assessment of virtually all U.S.-based institutions where students are eligible for financial aid.
The newspaper used this data to rank 29 Maryland schools based on the median salary that students reported, 10 years after they enrolled.
