- Packages that are shipped through private carriers are assigned tracking numbers and are usually traceable through the carriers’ websites.

- Mail is picked up by 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

- Outgoing mail is picked up by 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

When do you need to put a customs form on a package?
- Customs forms are required to go on packages that leave the USA that weigh more than one pound. Packages that are under one pound do not require a customs form. Customs forms are located in Mail Services.

If I send something through campus mail, how long will it take?
- Interoffice mail is next day delivery.

I am online with the USPS and my tracking number says that the mail has been delivered. Do you know where it is?
- Usually, the term delivered can mean the mail in question has been received at the local USPS facility. The delivery Confirmation mail is usually received at the campus Mail Services 24 to 48 hours later.

Must envelopes be sealed before sending to the mail room?
- We can seal business size envelopes only.

How should mail be bundled to go out through campus mail?
- Tightly band all bundles, making sure envelopes all are facing the same way. Make separate bundles for each type of mail. Never mix interdepartmental, stamped, international, or domestic mail.

Does the departmental account number have to be in each envelope?
- If you have a whole box or tray of mail, just one note with account number is all we need. If your mail is in bundles, the account number should be placed or printed on the top of the bundled mail.

What time of day does UPS, FedEx, FedEx Ground, DHL, and Amazon deliver packages to the campus?
- All major package carriers deliver once per day between the hours of 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Can I get my personal mail and packages delivered to the University of Baltimore?
- Personal mail and packages should be mailed to your home address. Contact the Mail Services if you have any questions.
