How can I park in disability parking spaces on campus? Both a valid MVA disability placard issued to the student, faculty or staff parker, and a special HP permit are required to park in disability parking on Mt. Royal Avenue, in the Morton Alley spaces, and in the HP spaces behind the Academic Center. In the Maryland Avenue and Fitzgerald Garages, only the MVA placard is required. UB issues special HP permits in Academic Center Room 105 with a valid MVA certificate issued to the student, faculty or staff member. The UB Police Department rigorously enforces appropriate parking in disabled parking spaces at UB.
I need to park a van on campus. Where can I park it?We currently have van-accessible parking in the Maryland Avenue Garage (lower level, along the Biddle Street side) and in the Fitzgerald Garage. Note that the Cathedral Street entrance of the Maryland Avenue Garage has higher clearance.
Is the free UB shuttle that circulates campus wheelchair accessible?
