2022 Winter Break Timesheet Information
The University will close Wednesday, Dec. 22 and will re-open Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
The chart below shows which codes can be used for the winter break. If you have not earned a holiday like Presidents Day, you must use personal or annual leave. If you do not have available paid leave you must take unpaid leave (NOP). Sick leave cannot be used.

Part-time employees earn pro-rated holidays. If you work 50%, you earn 4 hours; 60% would earn 4.8 hours, etc.
If a holiday is earned on a day that you do not normally work (example = you work 50% and do not work on Mondays), you can take that earned holiday and use it on another day. If you used the holiday on the day it was earned instead of "banking" it, you must use some other type of leave for the holiday. The administrative/university holiday hours are pro-rated for part-time employees.
University of Baltimore Police department employees earn holidays 45 days before the holiday. Because these employees may be scheduled to work over the holidays, they may use the holiday time up to 45 days in advance of the holiday.
