"Michael is the quintessential overachiever – but in a good way. The Fellows program gave him the outlet to showcase his talents. It also gave Michael the opportunity to convert what he has learned into bite site nuggets he can then adapt and use for both personal growth and entrepreneurial success. He’s good that way."
"Clear goal setting. Universal appeal. Common sense approach. Aasha’s journey through EFellows allowed her to apply each of those qualities to her entrepreneurial venture as well as her academic pursuits at UBalt. Her success ties into the care and deep personal connection she has to her endeavor and it shines through in what she does."
"Tishawn has a keen sense of just how much to take on. She was a great example of a student who knew how to find her rhythm and push forward with confidence in the Fellows program. With great self-awareness, she knows when to reset and maintain balance. No matter the challenge, she makes it all come together with ease and grace, making herself limitless."
The grit, determination, and purpose-driven mindset our entrepreneurship students display on a daily basis exemplify why our university programs matter so deeply. These qualities are not just academic virtues; they are the very building blocks of a thriving local economy. UBalt recognizes the crucial role that emerging, often minority-owned businesses play in the economic health of the Baltimore region. By fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in our students, while offering the means to earn a college degree, UBalt does more than educate—we create a place where transformation happens, where ideas become ventures, where students become leaders, and where our community becomes stronger, one innovative venture at a time.
