Masie Hawkins has been drawn to fashion since high school spending much of her tie creating handbags and outfits. She aspires to launch her own intimates brand, The Dream Bra, to use her creativity to benefit others and help women look and feel elegant. 

In 2024, Masie won the"Rise to the Challenge" pitch competition in the category of Aspiring Business Ventures.

"Being an entrepreneur to me means being to put my time, handwork and finances on the line to build on my passion, to be brave enough to accept my failures and remain resilient in the face of adversity."

His company, Treasure Health Services aims to enhance the quality of life for its clients by delivering exceptional home healthcare with integrity, respect, and dignity, enabling them to maintain independence in their own homes while addressing their unique physical and emotional needs.

Michael was the 2025 recipient of the Merrick School of Business Dean's Award.

A licensed cosmetologist and mother, Aasha Mikha’El, B.S. ‘25, aspires to open Uniquely in Place, a specialized salon and barbershop dedicated to serving children with autism, ADHD, and other behavioral challenges.

Aasha won the 2024 Rise to the Challenge pitch competitionin the categories of "Most Promising Business" and "Crowd Favorite."

Drawing inspiration from her own journey as a mother of five and a business student, Tishawn crafts designs that thoughtfully combine style, comfort, and practicality to address the realities of modern womanhood. Black Butterfly By Aaicha transcends mere clothing; it's a movement dedicated to cultivating confidence, fostering a sense of value, and empowering women in every aspect of their lives.
