LEARN HOW TO ACCESS THE BALTIMORE BANNER USING YOUR UBALT CREDENTIALS
Re-introducing the BALTIMORE BANNER—a Pulitzer Prize-winning local online news source available to the University of Baltimore community.
The University of Baltimore Library & Archives subscribes to the Baltimore Banner, operated by the Venetoulis Institute for Local Journalism, a nonprofit with the mission to “provide high quality, independent information to communities that need it most and to build a model that can sustain that work over the long term.”
A consistently solid source of local news, investigative journalism, and the always interesting people, places, and things of Baltimore and the surrounding areas, the Baltimore Banner often puts a local spin on national news, alerting readers to how changes in industry and politics affect them. And its restaurant, culture, and sports coverage are just as in-depth and informative.
Use your free subscription through the University of Baltimore to research local legislature, stay updated on the current Orioles season, or make plans for your weekend.
