The University of Baltimore School of Law prepares lawyers not only to practice law
but to lead. That mission was reflected in Maryland's June primary elections, in which
16 UBalt Law alumni found success. Nine alumni secured nominations for circuit court
judgeships, while seven advanced in races for state and local government offices—continuing
the law school's proud tradition of graduates who leverage their legal education to
serve their communities and strengthen the rule of law.
We are thrilled to celebrate our alumni who will give back to their communities.
With their primary victories, these alumni now advance to the general election in November. We wish them continued success as they seek to serve their communities through public office.
If you know of any alumni who had electoral success and are not included on this list, please share the news! Email lawalumni@ubalt.edu.
