University of Baltimore President Kurt L. Schmoke was recently named to The Daily Record's 2025 Power List for Higher Education. The list, which includes institutional presidents and senior administrators from across the state, features those who are "charting a course for the future" for higher education.
"Maryland has justly earned a reputation as home to some of the finest institutions of higher education in the nation," the article says. "The men and women who make up our 2025 Higher Education Power List are among the reasons why."
The Daily Record says the list was assembled by its editorial team, with input from readers and others for added perspective.
"Schmoke has consistently emphasized his belief in education's transformative power," the newspaper says.
