Childcare Referral Services

Balancing school, work and family can be difficult. Fortunately, your SAP can assist in making this part of the student experience easier. Childcare referral services are an additional benefit provided by UBalt at no cost to you. Upon calling the SAP, you will be linked to a Student Care Coordinator who will provide resources tailed for your specific childcare needs. 

The SAP offers a wide variety of child care referrals for services, including:

• Family daycare homes and group homes
• Emergency and back-up care
• Nurseries and preschools
• Nanny and au pair services
• Summer camps
• Before and after school programs
• Adoption and special needs

Within three business days, your SAP Student Care Coordinator will provide via e-mail or mail:

• A listing of providers that meet your criteria
• A guide to quality childcare
• Brochures and information tailed for your specific childcare needs
