National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is an opportunity to explore, reflect on, and engage in local and national action around the critical problem of homelessness and food insecurity in our nation.

Food Drive
We are collecting donations for the Campus Pantry. You can make a monetary or item donation. Visit our site to find out more information. We now have an Amazon Wishlist you can use to shop! We have distributed over 800lbs of food to our campus community so far this year. Thank you for helping keep this essential resource going. The Campus Pantry is open Wednesday and Thursdays from 12pm-6pm.
Coat Drive
The Center for Student Engagement is hosting a Coat Drive through the end of the semester. The coats collected will be available to the campus community. Any excess will be donated to Outreach Services, a homeless shelter located in Baltimore City. We are collecting coats of all sizes for all ages. You can drop off your donation until December 19 to the Center for Student Engagement and Inclusion (UBalt Student Center, room 002) Mon-Thurs 10 a.m.-5 p.m.-

Join Project PLASE to distribute food to community members donated by the Maryland Food Bank.Project PLASE (People Lacking Ample Shelter and Employment) addresses homelessness in Baltimore by providing temporary housing, permanent housing and supportive services to homeless adults and families.
This is an off-campus event hosted by Project PLASE. Students are responsible for their transportation to and from the site and should address any questions about this event to Project PLASE at info@projectplase.org or call 410-837-1400 ext. 221.
