May 9-13, 2022
De-Stress Fest is a traditional week of activities held each semester the week before finals, with events organized by a number of offices and groups on campus. It’s a chance to unwind, reflect, and prepare as the end of the semester approaches.

Fri 10 a.m.-6 p.m.On your way to study, stop by the DeStress Room in the RLB Library (room 112 on the first floor) to pick up FREE snacks, word puzzles, coloring, or shoot some darts !

Two Deep Breaths: A Gentle Yoga & Live Music Getaway
1:30-2:30 p.m. | Zoom
This 60-minute event combines live music, yoga, meditation, and positive affirmations. Carefully crafted to promote a sense of relaxation, mindfulness, and creative expression. This virtual experience will encourage a sense of community through an interactive music performance and gentle yoga session. Afterwards, participants will feel rested, refreshed, and better equipped with self-care tools to help cultivate calm moments every day.

The Office of Diversity and International Services invites you to de-stress before finals with a Gratitude Journal Workshop. Gratitudes can help us practice mindfulness which has been shown to increase happiness and decrease stress and rumination. At this workshop, we’ll discuss the mental and physical benefits of gratitudes and provide free gratitude journals with materials to decorate and make it your own. Come join us in the lobby of the Student Center on Wednesday, May 11th between 12-4PM for your new gratitude journal.
