Cindy Jamilet Flores (pictured 2nd from left), a student in the undergraduate Health Management program, had the honor of meeting First Lady Jill Biden and Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy at a COVID-19 vaccine clinic held at Children’s National THEARC, where she works to promote the safety and efficacy of the vaccine for children ages five to eleven years old. Cindy is currently the Call Center Manager at Children’s, and she and her staff have successfully scheduled 20,000 vaccination appointments. In recognition of her efforts, Children's selected Cindy to meet Dr. Biden and Dr. Murthy at the vaccination event, which focused on serving the needs of families in the community.
