Rochvarg has been a member of the faculty since 1979, teaching courses in Administrative Law, Agency and Partnership, Corporations, Criminal law, Immigration Law, International Criminal Law (University of Haifa, University of Netherland Antilles) and Professional Responsibility. Before joining the faculty, he taught at the University of Miami Law School, and practiced with a law firm in Washington, D.C. His book, Watergate Victory: Mardian's Appeal, presents Rochvarg's perspective on the Watergate case against Robert Mardian on whose defense team Rochvarg served. Rochvarg has also published articles on a variety of topics in journals such as the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal, McGill Law Journal, Administrative Law Review, American University Law Review, University of Miami Law Review and the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. Rochvarg has served as a member of the ABA Client Counseling Subcommittee, as a special counsel to the American Association of University Professors, as a consultant to the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, and as a member of the Independent Arbitration Panel which resolved disputes between airlines and travel agents. He has spoken at various conferences on administrative law, business law, and legal ethics. He is a member of the District of Columbia, Florida, and Maryland bars.
