Dr. Hudgins is a scholar of European and photographic history, with an interest in gender and the First World War.
Dr. Hudgins is a scholar of European and photographic history, with an interest in gender norms and subversion, 1789-1914. She loves teaching intellectual history and a full portfolio of European history courses, including "Darwin, Marx, Nietzsche, Freud," "Black Europe," "Film and History," and “The Nuremberg Trial.”
Dr. Hudgins is interested in preserving humanistic learning goals in an increasingly pre-professional educational climate. Her other pedagogical interests include synchronous and asynchronous Web learning, one-on-one project development, and teaching incarcerated students.
