Biography
Patrick Grubel is a Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he co-teaches the Civil Advocacy Clinic. Before joining UBalt Law, he was a litigator with a civil rights and First Amendment focus. Most recently, Patrick was trial attorney with a national nonprofit devoted to fighting discrimination against Muslims in America. In an earlier position, he was a constitutional litigation fellow at a different nonprofit, where he engaged in impact litigation challenging government support of religion and religiously motivated discrimination. He also spent two years at a private firm that represented school districts and other educational institutions, whom he advised on a wide range of constitutional and statutory civil rights issues. Patrick clerked for the Supreme Court of Texas directly after graduating from Harvard Law School in 2017.
