Dr. Rajesh Mirani is Associate Professor of information systems. He has recently taught courses such as Data Science Toolkit I & II, Coding for Data Analytics, Data Driven Decision Making, and IT Service Delivery, to undergraduate business students. At the graduate level, he routinely teaches the required MBA course, Information Technology for Business Transformation.

His research interests are oriented towards the business/organizational value of IT, including electronic health records in hospitals, and ‘steady state’ IT investments in the federal government. In recent years, Dr. Mirani has served as President of the Merrick School of Business Faculty Senate, and chaired the University of Baltimore's Academic Policy Committee.

Additionally, he is a licensed Maryland REALTOR®.
